About the role
Lead the delivery of major road and transport infrastructure contracts for Queensland, acting as Superintendent, Contract Administrator or Representative as required. Provide commercial and contractual advice to ensure safe, efficient project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Administer high‑value construction contracts, managing variations, claims, extensions of time and payment processes.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, specialists and external advisors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project expenditure, cash flow and commercial risks, preparing reports for senior client and government stakeholders.
Required profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with RPEQ registration.
- 20+ years experience in contract administration and delivery of major road infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience acting as Contract Administrator, Superintendent or Representative on Design & Construct, TIC‑CO, CPA or Alliance contracts.
Required skills
- Civil Engineering technical knowledge.
- Contract administration, including variations, claims and dispute management.
- Understanding of Transport and Main Roads policies, standards and specifications.
