Accounts Officer – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Officer to join our Finance team at Monde Nissin Australia. This role goes beyond a traditional AP/AR position, offering broad exposure across the function, the chance to liaise with major suppliers and customers, and the autonomy to drive improvements. You will work in a hybrid model, combining office collaboration with up to two days of remote work each week.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately allocate payments to the debtor ledger and reconcile daily cash.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely customer payments.
• Reconcile and allocate rebates and trading terms.
• Maintain customer accounts in line with company policy and minimise bad debts.
• Manage the Redmap exception queue and process weekly supplier payment runs.
• Handle daily banking, cash reconciliation, and workflow management.
• Liaise with major customers, including supermarket chains.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in accounts receivable/payable roles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
• FMCG experience is advantageous.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience reconciling rebates and trading terms.
