Accountant – Finance Team (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, detail‑driven Accountant to join our Finance team on a permanent full‑time basis. The role supports day‑to‑day accounting functions, ensures accurate and compliant financial data, and contributes to timely reporting and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Monitor equipment sales, rentals and trade‑ins.
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory reconciliations for parts and attachments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure complete and accurate financial data.
• Support audit requirements by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Assist with cost analysis across operations and service divisions.
• Contribute to cash‑flow reporting and forecasting.
• Support financial projects and ad‑hoc reporting.
• Identify process improvements and efficiencies.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in an Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience using multiple systems and handling multiple legal entities.
