Account Manager – Enterprise IT Solutions

About the role

Datacom is looking for an Account Manager to drive revenue and growth across major enterprise customers in Adelaide. You will own the end‑to‑end relationship, ensuring customer satisfaction while expanding our business footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans for key client accounts to meet sales targets.
• Manage revenue, growth, productivity and profit across your portfolio.
• Lead program processes and coordinate cross‑business resources to achieve goals, schedules and quality commitments.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and third‑party partners.
• Collaborate with sales and support teams to identify expansion opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations and prepare sales proposals, tenders and contracts.
• Act as the single point of contact for clients during implementation.
• Work closely with clients to assess current and future needs and propose suitable products, services and upgrades.
• Advise customers on information and business technology strategy.
• Support the wider sales team as required.

Required profile

• 4+ years of account management or related experience.
• Proven sales ability with strong negotiation and persuasive skills.
• Experience managing customer contracts and requests.
• Expert knowledge of IT products and industry trends.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
