About the role

Join a leading industrial and manufacturing solutions provider as a Business Development Manager, responsible for driving commercial outcomes across the South Australia territory. You will focus on solution sales within utilities, mining and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial and utilities sector.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client requirements.
• Prepare and present proposals and sales presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales or business development role within the industrial or utilities industry.
• Experience with access control solutions in the utilities sector is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of market trends and client needs in the sector.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s licence, as travel is required.
