Small Business Specialist – South Australia

About the role

As a Small Business Specialist in ANZ’s Business & Private Bank, you will be based in a South Australian branch and work directly with small‑business owners. You will combine industry insight with tailored banking solutions to help customers start, run and grow their enterprises while ensuring a high‑quality, compliant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct phone‑based lending enquiries to understand customers’ business needs.
• Provide tailored advice and banking solutions that support growth and financial health.
• Partner with Branch Managers, Bankers and B&PB teams to identify opportunities and deepen relationships.
• Collaborate with Asset Finance Managers, Credit Assessment, Quality Control and Fulfilment officers to deliver end‑to‑end service.
• Drive business development through proactive conversations and referral partnerships.
• Maintain risk and compliance standards in every customer interaction.

Required profile

• Experience in small‑business banking or a related financial‑services role.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to delivering value.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative branch environment.
• Understanding of risk management and compliance requirements.
