Room Attendant

About the role

As a Room Attendant at The Chen Melbourne – Art Series, you will be a key member of the Housekeeping team, ensuring each guest room is spotless and welcoming. Your work directly contributes to the memorable experience of guests staying in our artist‑inspired hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down all surfaces.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, keeping supplies organized and fully stocked.
• Use cleaning materials safely and follow all health‑and‑safety protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure a flawless stay.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style that makes guests and teammates feel at home.
• Strong eye for detail, efficient time management, and pride in work quality.
• Physical ability to navigate stairs and walk between rooms throughout a shift.
• Collaborative attitude, reliable transportation, and availability for varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
