Credit Coach – Home Lending (Queensland)

About the role

The Credit Coach will elevate credit capability across ANZ's proprietary home‑lending network. Acting as a subject‑matter expert, you will coach Specialist Lenders and Lending Area Managers, champion compliance, and drive a strong credit culture that improves deal quality and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Coach Specialist Lenders and Lending Area Managers to strengthen credit knowledge and decision‑making.
• Lead adoption of new credit tools and processes, delivering scalable train‑the‑trainer programmes.
• Facilitate collaborative workshops to resolve complex lending scenarios.
• Identify risk indicators, champion policy compliance, and mitigate credit risk.
• Analyse metrics and trends to pinpoint coaching opportunities and embed best practices.
• Provide data‑driven insights to Regional and Lending Area Managers to boost home‑loan performance.
• Develop change‑management capability and embed capability initiatives nationally.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in credit, lending or mortgage operations.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret performance data and risk indicators.
• Proven coaching or training experience, preferably with senior lending teams.
• Excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate across the network.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences throughout the home‑buyer journey.
