Business Banking Manager – SME Banking

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Business Banking Manager to grow revenue, deposits and share of wallet for small‑business customers in New South Wales. You will originate new customers, cross‑sell, manage relationships and retain a portfolio of existing small‑business clients, helping them achieve their financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Build sustainable, long‑term relationships with small‑business clients and expand critical customer portfolios.
• Provide value‑added financial solutions while managing risk and applying financial analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams across the Business Unit and wider bank to support client growth.
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering high performance.
• Develop a network of contacts to source new business, maximise existing relationships and increase overall effectiveness.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with genuine curiosity about client drivers.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements and credit assessment.
• Background in business lending and commercial banking.
