Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Dee Why, NSW)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver seamless branch experiences, meeting customers’ end‑to‑end financial needs through transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience, handling transactions and advising on digital banking solutions.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to enhance customer experience.
• Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy by delivering value‑added service.
• Participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
• Maintain a “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, preferably with retail experience.
• Experience using and promoting digital technology and channels.
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
