Veterinary Nurse (Part-Time)

About the role

Greencross Vets Brookvale is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse on a part‑time basis. You will join a modern, community‑focused clinic with a loyal client base, working four consistent days each week.

Key responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative patient care, including surgical preparation and theatre assistance.
• Monitor anaesthesia, support patient recovery, and perform pathology collection and diagnostic testing.
• Administer medications, care for hospitalised patients, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Handle client enquiries professionally and uphold high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• Strong clinical veterinary nursing experience and understanding of nursing procedures.
• Confident in monitoring anaesthesia and excellent animal handling skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.

Required skills

• Experience with RxWorks (highly regarded but not essential).
