Veterinary ECC Internship

About the role

Join Greencross Vet Hospital for an 18‑month Emergency & Critical Care graduate internship, designed to transition recent veterinary graduates into clinical emergency practice within a teaching hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gain hands‑on experience with a diverse caseload of emergency and complex referral cases.
• Work alongside experienced ECC veterinarians and multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in internal medicine, surgery, neurology, cardiology, oncology, anaesthesia, clinical pathology and dentistry.
• Participate in monthly multi‑disciplinary case rounds and the annual Greencross Veterinary Conference.

Required profile

• Recent veterinary graduate or early‑career veterinarian seeking to develop ECC expertise.
• Motivated, collaborative and committed to ongoing professional growth.

Required skills

• Clinical knowledge of emergency and critical care veterinary medicine.
• Ability to work with advanced diagnostic equipment such as CT, MRI, ultrasound and endoscopy.
