Venue Manager

About the role

Accor is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead The Brewery Bar + Kitchen, a vibrant pub‑style venue in the heart of Sydney Olympic Park. You will oversee daily food, beverage and entertainment operations while driving large‑scale event activations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations including food, beverage, gaming and entertainment.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team, fostering an inclusive culture.
• Coordinate security, council approvals and agency staff for major events.
• Drive venue promotions in partnership with Sales & Marketing.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or Operations Manager in high‑volume hospitality.
• Strong understanding of liquor licensing, gaming compliance and responsible service.
• Current NSW RSA & RCG certificate and willingness to obtain a forklift licence.
• Full working rights in Australia and availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Experience coordinating large events and entertainment programmes.
• Ability to manage security providers and ensure compliance.
