Guest Service Agent

About the role

Minor Hotels’ Oaks Geelong Vue Suites are seeking a full‑time Guest Service Agent who will be the first friendly face for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth stay from check‑in to check‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm and friendly reception, handling check‑ins, check‑outs and immediate guest inquiries.
• Maintain clear communication with guests, colleagues and stakeholders via in‑person, phone and email.
• Process reservations, updates and special requests accurately using the property management system.
• Act as the primary point of contact throughout the guest’s stay, offering assistance, resolving issues and giving personalised local recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering high‑quality service in a hotel, hospitality or customer‑facing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple channels.
• Professional appearance and a proactive, positive attitude toward guest needs.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
