About the role

We are partnering with an international advisory firm to hire a US Tax Senior Manager for its expanding Sydney team. The role offers the chance to work with high‑net‑worth individuals and globally mobile clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services across US‑Australia tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of US‑connected individuals and businesses, ensuring high‑quality compliance.
• Provide advisory support on US/Australia and broader cross‑border tax issues, including expatriate tax and global mobility.
• Handle foreign reporting and tax structuring considerations.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• Strong experience in US tax, preferably within an international or expatriate environment.
• Professional qualifications such as EA, CPA or equivalent.
• Knowledge of US/AU or US/global cross‑border tax issues.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead engagements.
• Commercial mindset with interest in expanding advisory capabilities.
