Thai Speaking Sales Representative – Foodservice Wholesale

About the role

DNL FOOD, a Melbourne‑based meat and seafood wholesaler, is looking for a motivated Thai‑speaking Sales Representative to grow its presence in the Thai restaurant and hospitality market. The role combines new‑business development with the management of existing customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new customers within the Thai restaurant, hospitality and foodservice sectors.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Promote DNL FOOD’s range of meat, poultry, seafood and foodservice products.
• Handle enquiries, quotations, pricing and orders.
• Identify sales opportunities and build a personal customer portfolio.
• Visit customers to foster long‑term business relationships.
• Collaborate with customer service, purchasing, warehouse and logistics teams.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity.
• Achieve agreed sales and customer growth targets.

Required profile

• Fluent in Thai and able to communicate confidently in English.
• Previous experience in sales, hospitality, foodservice, FMCG, meat or seafood is highly regarded.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and comfortable developing new customers.
• Good understanding of the Melbourne Thai restaurant and hospitality market is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Australian driver licence preferred.
• Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship preferred.

• Proficiency in English.
