Sales Development Representative

About the role

BuildPass is a venture-backed SaaS platform for the construction industry, covering takeoff, estimating, procurement, RFQs, proposals, programming, site safety and compliance, budgets and payments, and tool integrations. The Sales Development Representative is the first point of contact for inbound and outbound customers and is responsible for generating new business opportunities that drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to prospects to generate new business opportunities
• Identify and qualify leads through outbound efforts (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) and inbound enquiries
• Understand customer needs and educate them on how BuildPass solves their pain points
• Collaborate with the sales team to book meetings and build a robust sales pipeline
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in a CRM, managing multiple prospects at different stages of the sales funnel
• Stay current on industry trends, product developments and competitors

Required profile

• 1+ year of professional experience, in construction or SDR
• Results-driven mindset, able to set and exceed targets
• Construction industry experience is highly advantageous, especially site operations, estimating, procurement or construction finance
• Outstanding listening ability; curious and experimental
• Strong desire to join a fast-growing sales team and build a career
