Territory Manager - Companion Animal

About the role

Elanco, a global animal health company, is looking for a Territory Manager for its Companion Animal Sales Team. The role covers the Northern Brisbane/Sunshine Coast territory and focuses on customer engagement, sales performance and the promotion of Elanco's companion animal products.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary and retail customers
• Provide technical support and training on Elanco's companion animal products
• Execute sales strategies aligned with brand plans and territory goals
• Monitor and report market trends and competitor activity
• Maintain accurate customer records and activity reporting in CRM systems

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in science or a related field (minimum Year 10 education)
• 1-2 years of sales experience; animal health experience is advantageous
• Preferred: tertiary qualification in business, marketing or a veterinary-related field
• Preferred: experience in veterinary, vet nursing or pet health retail

Required skills

• Strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
• Ability to understand and present technical product knowledge
• Preferred: proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office and Outlook

Travel is approximately 90%, including regional overnight trips and occasional weekend or evening events. The location is Northern Brisbane/Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
