Team Leader – Occupational Rehabilitation

About the role

Join WorkFocus Australia as a Team Leader overseeing a multidisciplinary team of Rehabilitation Consultants in Brisbane. This position blends leadership responsibilities with a reduced, specialised caseload, allowing you to mentor staff while delivering high‑quality occupational rehabilitation services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of consultants, monitoring performance and quality.
• Identify return‑to‑work barriers and design, implement and monitor programs to support injured employees.
• Explore new growth opportunities and contribute to business development.
• Mentor and train junior staff members.
• Manage a specialised caseload alongside leadership duties.

Required profile

• Full relevant registration in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Chiropractic or Rehab Counselling.
• Current vehicle, driver’s licence and ability to travel for work.
• Minimum one year experience in workers compensation, rehabilitation and OHS legislation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with insurers, medical practitioners, employers and employees.
• Proven organisational and time‑management abilities.
