Tax Manager – Business Services

About the role

This is a senior, manager‑level position within a top‑100 Australian accounting firm. You will lead a team while delivering high‑quality tax and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of suburban and city‑sized clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive, commercial business and tax advisory solutions.
• Conduct tax research on complex matters and present findings to directors and clients.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax filings.
• Prepare financial reports and deliver meaningful business insights.
• Mentor, develop and oversee junior accountants.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified accounting professional.
• Significant local public‑practice experience in Australia.
• Proven experience managing, mentoring and developing a small team.
• Confidence in handling tax research and advisory matters.
