Talent Acquisition Business Partner - Emergency Vet Recruitment

About the role

A full-time Talent Acquisition Business Partner is sought to lead the recruitment of emergency veterinarians across Greencross Pet Wellness Company's network of veterinary clinics, emergency and referral hospitals, Petbarn retail stores and grooming salons. The role sits in a collaborative team of seven, working closely with the Specialist Veterinary Recruiter and the Specialty and Emergency Clinical Support Recruiter.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment of emergency veterinarians across the network
• Build relationships with veterinary professionals locally and internationally
• Develop targeted sourcing and attraction strategies for a competitive candidate market
• Partner with hospital leaders to understand their workforce needs and recruitment priorities
• Present the clinical, career and lifestyle benefits of each opportunity to prospective candidates in Australia and overseas
• Sourcing candidates through professional networks, referrals, social media and direct outreach
• Provide practical recruitment advice and market insights to stakeholders
• Deliver a responsive, personal and supportive candidate experience
• Collaborate with the wider Talent Acquisition team on campaigns, projects and shared priorities
• Support international candidates through recruitment, professional registration, relocation and migration processes, with internal and external specialists

Required profile

• Background may include a veterinary clinical role (general practice, emergency, specialty or veterinary nursing), veterinary recruitment or human healthcare recruitment (medical, nursing or allied health)
• Positive, proactive and team-focused approach
• Strong candidate and stakeholder relationship skills
• Confidence to recruit in a competitive, candidate-short market
• Excellent communication, organisation and follow-through
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
