Supply Chain Manager – Data Centre Projects

About the role

TMX Edge is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee end‑to‑end supply chain activities for major data‑centre customers across fleet, plant and critical equipment categories. The role involves coordinating procurement, importation and delivery of heavy assets, managing logistics partners and ensuring timely availability of equipment for construction and operational phases.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end supply chain activities for data‑centre projects, covering fleet, plant and critical equipment.
• Coordinate procurement, importation and on‑site delivery of heavy fleet, generators, and mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Oversee freight forwarders, customs brokers and logistics partners to ensure smooth customs clearance.
• Monitor equipment availability, delivery schedules and inventory levels to support construction and operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, service providers and key customer stakeholders.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans to minimise project disruption.
• Provide regular reporting on procurement status, logistics performance, costs and key metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, logistics and fleet management processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics roles managing heavy fleet, plant, generators or industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of international freight, importation processes and customs clearance requirements.
• Experience coordinating equipment deliveries to large‑scale infrastructure, construction or data‑centre projects.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across suppliers, logistics providers and client teams.
• Commercial acumen with experience negotiating suppliers and managing procurement activities.
• Excellent planning, organisation and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
