Supply Chain & Logistics Lead – Aviation

About the role

Metrea Australia is seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Lead to oversee logistics and supply chain operations for a diverse fleet of aircraft, including Challenger 605, King Air 350 and Global 6500. The role ensures efficient, compliant aircraft operations across Australia while managing procurement, inventory, and dangerous‑goods handling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage spare‑parts inventory, procurement and supply‑chain processes to minimise aircraft downtime and optimise costs.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies for aircraft maintenance, deployment and regulatory compliance (CASA, FAA, EASA).
• Oversee dangerous‑goods handling, shipping and documentation in line with IATA DGR, CAA, FAA and EASA standards.
• Maintain compliance with ITAR for controlled components and prepare reports for regulators and auditors.
• Lead a high‑performing global supply‑chain team, driving demand planning, predictive analytics and integration with AMOS and ERP platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, aviation management or supply‑chain management.
• Minimum 5 years managing logistics for mixed aircraft fleets, including jets and turboprops.
• Experience with CASA, FAA and EASA regulatory frameworks.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent and IATA Dangerous Goods certification.
• Current Australian baseline security clearance or ability to obtain one.
