About the role
Infosys Consulting is seeking a Solution Designer to lead the design and implementation of microservices‑based banking applications. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop high‑level solution designs and architectural blueprints for banking applications.
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture supporting digital transformation initiatives.
- Create reference architecture, design patterns, and API strategies for core banking systems.
- Oversee implementation and integration, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in solution design and architecture, with a focus on microservices.
- Proven experience in the banking domain and knowledge of open banking standards.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving and project management skills.
Required skills
- Java and Spring Boot.
- Cloud platforms (AWS) and containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- DevOps processes, CI/CD tools.
- Microservices architecture and API design.
