Senior Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Become the key hands‑on security engineer in a leading HealthTech company, working across SecOps, Cloud/SaaS security and Application Security. You will report directly to IT & Security Leadership and own day‑to‑day security operations while collaborating with internal and external specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary internal technical security contact, working with an outsourced SOC to investigate, contain and remediate incidents.
• Own vulnerability management across corporate, cloud and SaaS environments, helping teams prioritize and resolve issues.
• Work with security tooling such as CrowdStrike, Sumo Logic, Proofpoint, Okta, Nullify and UpGuard.
• Partner with software engineering and architecture teams to improve secure development practices and application security.
• Review new SaaS platforms and vendors from a security perspective, especially where sensitive customer data is involved.
• Help implement technical controls for identity, endpoint security, data protection, cloud security and ISO 27001 readiness.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in security engineering, security operations or a similar technical cybersecurity role.
• Broad exposure to endpoint security, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud or SaaS security.
• Comfortable investigating security issues directly rather than only advising.
• Experience in a technology, SaaS or product environment with knowledge of secure development principles.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders, translating risk into practical actions.
