Solution Architect (Amdocs) – Senior Backend/API Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in backend and API development, particularly within the telecom sector. The role involves leading architectural decisions and delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions for Amdocs platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Lead architectural discussions to guarantee scalability and maintainability.

Required profile

• 15+ years of software development experience, including at least 5 years as a senior architect.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.

Required skills

• Java 11 as primary programming language.
• Expertise in Amdocs Jarvis (CRM), Ambar (Billing & Collection), SDP & MCSS (Integration).
• Solid understanding of backend development principles and API design.
• Experience in the telecom domain focusing on backend systems.
• Familiarity with Channel (OCA/MOA) systems and Credit Services Interflow (preferred).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS (preferred).
