Principal Technology Consultant – Juniper Service Provider

About the role

The Principal Technology Consultant will work onsite at a HPE partner or customer office, providing senior technical leadership for service provider network transformation projects. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping solution strategies and delivering complex Juniper‑based networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture design and governance for large‑scale service provider transformation programs, including BNG, CGNAT, ISP and IP core architectures.
• Provide strategic consulting to customer executives and technical leaders, delivering workshops, governance meetings and executive briefings.
• Drive technical delivery across cross‑functional teams, ensuring solution quality, risk mitigation and successful milestone achievement.
• Partner with sales and account teams to develop professional services opportunities, create SOWs, WBS and cost models, and support proposal development.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in telecommunications, service provider or networking consulting environments.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale architecture and transformation programs for Tier 1 carriers or ISPs.
• Strong consulting, presentation and executive stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in business development, opportunity shaping and revenue growth initiatives.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Juniper Service Provider technologies (MX, ACX, BNG, CGNAT, MPLS, Segment Routing).
• Design and implementation of ISP, IP core, edge routing and subscriber management architectures.
• Network automation, orchestration, high‑availability and resiliency design.
• IPv4/IPv6 migration, routing and switching, and network transformation methodologies.
