Site Supervisor / Junior Site Supervisor - Commercial Fit-Out & New Build

About the role

A national commercial contractor is recruiting a Site Supervisor or Junior Site Supervisor for its Adelaide team, working on commercial fit-outs and new builds valued at $10M-$30M. The role supports and coordinates day-to-day site operations so that works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard, working closely with the Project Manager and the wider project team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities across commercial fit-out and new-build projects
• Manage subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site resources
• Support construction sequencing, programmes and project milestones
• Maintain high standards across WHS, quality assurance and compliance
• Work with Project Managers, Contract Administrators and consultants
• Monitor progress, identify issues and help implement practical solutions
• Assist with inspections, defect rectification and project handover

Required profile

• Motivated, hands-on construction professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and site organisation
• Ideally experienced in commercial construction, with site supervision experience highly regarded
• Exposure to commercial projects valued between $10M and $40M, across fit-out, new build or both
• Carpentry or similar trade background highly regarded

Required skills

• Understanding of construction sequencing, programming and subcontractor coordination
• Ability to coordinate trades, manage priorities and maintain site productivity
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder relationship building
