Senior Project Coordinator - Commercial Construction

About the role

A specialist commercial construction business in Adelaide, offering design-and-construct, fit-out and refurbishment projects, is recruiting a Senior Project Coordinator / Project Coordinator through ROUSSOS Recruitment. The role suits someone who wants a clear pathway into project management within 12-18 months, working alongside experienced project leaders and building technical and commercial knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project documentation, schedules and deliverables
• Maintain project systems, processes and administration
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients
• Monitor project progress, costs and programme milestones
• Support site teams with practical construction solutions
• Identify issues and help implement timely resolutions
• Develop the skills needed to move into a Project Manager position

Required profile

• Experience in project coordination, project engineering or a similar role
• Sound understanding of construction and project delivery
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and a process-driven approach
• Ability to identify challenges and recommend practical solutions
• Architectural, design or construction-related background is beneficial

Required skills

• Confidence with project systems; Procore experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
