Project Coordinator - Major Commercial Builds

About the role

ROUSSOS Recruitment is representing an established South Australian commercial builder with a growing pipeline of major construction projects, including commercial, education, health, residential, hospitality and mixed-use developments valued at $20M and above. The Project Coordinator reports to the Project Manager and works alongside the Site Manager, coordinating day-to-day project activities from planning through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project documentation, registers and reporting requirements
• Coordinate subcontractor procurement, engagement and onboarding
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders
• Monitor project schedules, milestones and upcoming deliverables
• Assist with budgets, cost tracking, variations and progress claims
• Support forecasting, financial reporting and commercial administration
• Organise project meetings and track actions through to completion
• Maintain accurate records and keep project information up to date
• Help identify issues early and support the team in developing practical solutions

Required profile

• 2-4 years' experience in Project Coordination or a similar construction role
• Exposure to commercial construction projects, ideally valued at $20M+
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Understanding of project delivery, procurement and construction processes
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Commercial awareness, accuracy and attention to detail
• Confidence communicating with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams
• Proactive approach to resolving issues and motivation to progress toward Project Management
