Site Manager Transitioning to Project Manager – Commercial Construction

About the role

This opportunity is designed for an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager who wants to move into a Project Management position. You will work on commercial construction projects valued between $10M and $40M, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle while being supported by an experienced team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of commercial construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Collaborate with Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support project programming, procurement and construction planning.
• Control project costs, variations, contracts and commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate consultants, authorities and project stakeholders while monitoring programme, quality, safety and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects valued between $10M and $40M.
• Strong site management background with ability to lead trades and subcontractors.
• Sound understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and programming.
• Exposure to project administration, procurement, variations and commercial processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
