Project Manager – Major Tier 1 Commercial Construction

About the role

Lead the delivery of a significant commercial construction project for a nationally recognised Tier 1 contractor. You will own the project from commencement through to completion, driving programme, quality, safety and commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, procurement strategies and delivery plans.
• Lead and mentor high‑performing project teams, fostering collaboration.
• Manage project financials, including cost control, forecasting, variations and risk.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, contractual requirements, quality standards and WHS obligations.
• Work closely with senior leadership to drive project performance and successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering major commercial construction projects in Australia.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen and proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and project excellence.
