Site Manager - Energy Infrastructure

About the role

Daly's Constructions, a family-owned business with over 50 years of experience in the energy infrastructure industry, is hiring a full-time, on-site Site Manager in Brisbane, QLD. The role oversees day-to-day operations on construction sites, covering civil works, cable installation, jointing and terminating, with a focus on major sub-transmission and transmission underground cable projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate site activities and supervise site staff and subcontractors
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards
• Manage site resources and monitor progress against project plans
• Address operational issues to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Liaise with clients, project managers and other stakeholders and support accurate reporting and documentation
• Promote a positive safety culture and contribute to continuous improvement in site processes

Required profile

• Current vehicle licence and white card
• Experience in civil construction or energy infrastructure projects, ideally underground cable works, sub-transmission or transmission installations
• Relevant trade or technical qualification in construction, civil engineering or a related discipline; site management or safety certifications are highly regarded
• Commitment to safety, integrity and team-based work practices

• Basic computer and reporting tools such as MS Office and site reporting systems
