Asphalt Labourers

About the role

Protech is hiring Asphalt Labourers to work on paving and maintenance projects across the Brisbane region, including Eagle Farm, Ipswich, Archerfield, Brendale, Redcliffe and Narangba. Crews based in North Brisbane are needed, with openings for labourers, operators and drivers. Projects mix local and away work depending on availability, and immediate starts are available.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in asphalt paving and maintenance projects
• Carry out general labouring and ground works
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Required profile

• Construction white card
• Driver's licence and reliable transport
• HR licence or above preferred
• RII tickets and 1+ year operating experience required for machine operators
• Experience in the asphalt/spray seal industry is desirable but not essential

Required skills

• Highly regarded: roller operators (drum and multi), paver drivers, level hands, loader operators, rake and shovel hands
• HR/HC/MC licensed truck and tipper drivers, sprayer drivers, laboratory technicians

• Day rates of $38-$47 and night rates of $48-$60, with overtime and penalty rates applying
• Living away allowance when applicable
• Both day and night shifts, with good night shift rates
