Site Manager (Civil & Concrete)

About the role

McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager – Civil & Concrete to lead day‑to‑day delivery of civil and concrete works on allocated projects. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will maintain a strong site presence, ensure safety, and coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily delivery of civil and concrete construction, managing work fronts, crews and subcontractors.
• Coordinate labour, plant, equipment and materials to meet short‑term programmes and project milestones.
• Monitor progress against project schedules, costs and quality standards, and communicate updates.
• Oversee concrete works including preparation, reinforcement, formwork, pours and related civil activities.
• Maintain site diaries, manage site costs, identify delays or variations and raise early notifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, Civil Supervisor or similar leadership role in civil/concrete construction.
• Strong practical knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and constructability.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
• Current Driver’s Licence, Construction White Card and relevant trade or construction qualification.

Required skills

• Civil and structural concrete construction techniques.
• Project programming and scheduling.
• Use of construction management software such as Procore, Aconex or InEight.
• WH&S, environmental and quality compliance.
