Senior Structural Designer/ Modeller

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Structural Designer/Modeller to join our Energy and Industrial team in Perth. You will work on major iron‑ore and brownfield projects across Western Australia, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative structural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3‑D structural models using MicroStation and related tools.
• Design bulk‑material handling structures, marine structures, and concrete/reinforced elements.
• Lead small projects and work autonomously when required.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and other discipline engineers to integrate design inputs.
• Utilise digital tools to improve efficiency and problem‑solve complex engineering challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in mining, resources, oil & gas or related sectors.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead small‑scale projects.
• Strong passion for continuous learning and innovative engineering.

Required skills

• Bentley MicroStation 2D & 3D (essential).
• 3‑D modelling experience with ProStructures, SolidWorks, Inventor, Tekla or similar.
• Design experience with bulk‑material handling, balanced machines, marine structures, concrete and reinforcement.
