Senior Engineer – Bridges

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Perth Bridges team. You will lead the planning, analysis, design and construction support of bridge and civil structure projects, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical design and analysis for bridge and structural engineering projects, ensuring safety, compliance and innovation.
• Manage assigned work packages to meet programme, budget, quality and client expectations.
• Provide trusted technical advice to clients and stakeholders, supporting proposals and tender preparation.
• Mentor graduate and developing engineers, sharing technical knowledge and enhancing team capability.
• Manage technical quality, identify and mitigate project risks, and support commercial performance.

Required profile

• Relevant Civil or Structural Engineering qualifications with significant bridge design experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian bridge design standards, Austroads guidelines and road authority requirements.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or expected to achieve it soon.
• Proven experience delivering bridge and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
