Senior Project Manager - Data & Cloud Projects

About the role

Intelia is an Australian-owned consulting business offering Data Analytics, Data Strategy & Governance, Cloud Solutions and Intelligent Automation. As a GCP premier partner specialising in Data & Analytics, it works on large-scale projects. The Project Manager is responsible for mobilising, initiating, scoping, planning, governing and executing projects, and for managing budgets, costs, resources, schedules and stakeholder reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Mobilise, initiate, scope, plan, govern and execute projects
• Prepare and manage project budget, cost and resource management
• Produce and manage the project plan and schedule so milestones are met on time
• Manage commercial drivers and ensure budgets and spend are controlled
• Prepare reports and present to key stakeholders
• Lead technical project teams to achieve project outcomes
• Act as key point of contact and build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Conduct risk assessments and track mitigation strategies

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the tech space
• 6+ years of experience as a project manager or senior project manager
• Experience managing complex data projects
• Experience managing data migrations to cloud technologies (GCP preferred but not essential)
• Strong communicator able to present to a wide range of stakeholders
• Full working rights in Australia

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Office, MS Project, Jira and Confluence
• Project documentation and strong commercial acumen
