Senior Project Manager – Data Centre Projects

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of mission‑critical data centre projects in Melbourne, ensuring schedule, cost, quality and HSE targets are met. Reporting to the Programme Director, you will coordinate a multidisciplinary team and manage all external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and quality plans.
• Lead and integrate the construction management team, contractors, consultants and vendors.
• Monitor progress against the master schedule and method statements, resolving issues to mitigate risk.
• Coordinate team roles and performance, ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders.
• Liaise with government authorities, utilities and other external bodies to secure permits and compliance.
• Translate Keppel’s mission and project objectives into actionable plans for all parties.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in large‑scale, mission‑critical development projects, preferably data centres.
• Strong leadership style with the ability to engage senior officials, contractors and internal teams.
• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil & Structural, Architecture or Quantity Surveying).
• Proven experience in greenfield data centre sites, master planning and project scheduling.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts and the permitting process in Australia.
