About the role
Our client, a Queensland-based consultancy specializing in building remediation and structural rectification, is seeking a Remote Structural Engineer to provide technical, documentation, project coordination, and compliance support to site‑based teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review structural drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
- Prepare engineering reports and project documentation.
- Provide remote support to engineers, superintendents, and site teams.
- Assist with project coordination, document control, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure work aligns with relevant Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and timely delivery.
Required profile
- Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of structural engineering experience, ideally in remediation/rectification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote/site teams.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC is an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or similar software.
