Senior Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure

About the role

Green Civil Australia is seeking a senior‑level Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple civil infrastructure projects across NSW. The role involves overseeing projects from tender hand‑over through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, profitability and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of several civil construction projects simultaneously.
• Manage project budgets, cash‑flow forecasts, procurement strategies and cost control.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to contractual requirements.
• Oversee project programming, critical‑path management and risk mitigation.
• Administer subcontract agreements, negotiate variations, extensions of time and payment claims.
• Monitor project profitability and lead commercial negotiations with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Mentor and develop project managers, engineers, site engineers and supervisors.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships and identify repeat‑business opportunities.
• Support tender submissions, pre‑contract planning and strategic growth initiatives.
• Champion safety, quality and environmental compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to manage budgets, cash flow and profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to drive business development.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
