Senior Lecturer, Nursing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Lecturer to join the Department of Nursing within the School of Health Sciences. The role involves enhancing undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education, contributing to research, and supporting academic governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development for both online and on‑campus nursing courses, including teaching materials and assessments.
• Coordinate unit delivery, teaching, and marking of assessments.
• Develop and maintain research activities, build research teams and partnerships, and supervise practice‑based research.
• Contribute to academic governance, course management, and strategic direction of the department.

Required profile

• Doctorate qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or equivalent health professional.
• Demonstrated experience in tertiary teaching, curriculum development, and online learning delivery.
• Significant clinical experience in nursing or health care.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills for course and program management.
