About the role
Sophia Mundi Steiner School is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Class 1 Teacher to guide the Class 1 cohort for the 2027 academic year. The position is part of a three‑year cycle, with the teacher returning to Class 1 after three years.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver Steiner pedagogy to Class 1 students, fostering creativity, imagination and holistic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, contribute to the school community and participate in on‑site mentoring.
- Maintain professional standards, including valid WWCC, VIT registration and ongoing learning.
Required profile
- Highly skilled and experienced teacher with a genuine love for children.
- Warmth, empathy and a commitment to student wellbeing.
- Professional integrity, reliability and accountability.
- Experience with Steiner education is an advantage.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of Steiner pedagogy and philosophy.
- Creativity, flexibility and artistic inspiration in teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.
