Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

OneVue, an ASX-listed financial services company and the largest outsourced fund administration company in Australia, is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join its Melbourne team. The role focuses on deploying and operating infrastructure systems, with a focus on advanced Windows system administration and support, and covers the implementation and operation of all production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and operate infrastructure systems, including virtual and physical servers, voice, messaging and network devices, firewalls, applications and storage networks
• Implement and run all OneVue production environments
• Build on a broad range of technologies to add enhancement, automation and resiliency to a growing environment
• Provide escalated support for the IT helpdesk

Required profile

• At least 6 years of experience as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure design, deployment, network and infrastructure support and administration
• Background in IT support, preferably in the financial services industry, with change management, incident management, IT and cyber security and cloud environment experience
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain highly technical information to business audiences
