Senior Financial Accountant - Retail Banking

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
• Manage balance‑sheet and profit & loss reporting.
• Provide technical accounting advice on new products and business initiatives.
• Support the development and monitoring of financial control frameworks.
• Partner with finance stakeholders and broader business teams to drive best practice and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualification (or actively working towards it).
• Experience in financial reporting or financial control within financial services, preferably retail banking.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in large, complex organisations is advantageous.
