Senior Contracts Administrator – Canberra

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Canberra team. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of trade package contracts on large‑scale building projects, ensuring compliance and supporting the project’s commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and run the trade package tendering process, including preparation, issuance, receipt, comparison of tenders and recommendation submission.
• Prepare contract documents for trade packages and manage variation and progress claims under head and subcontract agreements.
• Produce monthly consolidated reports covering cash‑flow forecasting, variation status, contractual matters and cost analysis.
• Liaise with Project and Commercial Managers to address contract conditions and maintain internal cost controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading contracts administration on large building projects, including mentoring and supervising staff.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities, capable of building relationships at all organisational levels.
• Ability to work autonomously, using initiative, sound reasoning and sound decision‑making.
