Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Site Manager to join KONE’s Modernisation Team in Canberra, overseeing lift installation projects across the ACT and NSW. The role involves leading a team, ensuring safety, and delivering high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a safety‑focused culture to meet KONE’s safety targets.
• Manage site‑level projects, coordinating delivery and storage of materials and tools.
• Lead, coach and develop the performance of the on‑site team.
• Communicate effectively with customers and subcontractors throughout the installation process.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a team on construction or lift projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications such as Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or trade qualifications.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
• Excellent planning, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and White Card, asbestos and silica awareness certifications.
