Project Manager – Small Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will oversee planning and execution of small projects for the LAND1508 client, from inception through hand‑over to sustainment. Based in Canberra and working closely with the client, the role acts as the primary liaison between the Melbourne project office and the client’s SOGC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering tasks, timelines and resource needs.
• Monitor and control project activities to meet quality, budget and schedule expectations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing progress updates and addressing concerns.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred) and minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Strong planning, organisation and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team engagement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
