Senior Communications Manager

About the role

NAC Media Group, a leading boutique communications agency in Australia, is seeking a Senior Communications Manager to lead national PR and communications strategies for luxury fashion and lifestyle brands.

Key responsibilities

• Implement national PR & communications strategies, including media relations and localisation of global campaigns for brands such as Dior, Saint Laurent, BOSS, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana and Tommy Hilfiger.
• Identify client PR needs, generate new brand development ideas, and provide strategic advice based on industry trends and competitor activity.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, celebrity talent agencies and brand partners to drive collaborations, partnerships and event opportunities.
• Manage influencer programmes – strategy, negotiations, contracts and briefs – and ensure KPI achievement through reporting, analysis and EMV growth.
• Lead a team within the client portfolio, mentor junior members and work closely with the Founder & Director on client updates and new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in fashion, lifestyle or beauty communications.
• Director‑level capability to create media strategies, pitch to high‑profile fashion and entertainment outlets, and manage account teams.
• Excellent copy‑writing and editing skills for media releases, internal communications and seasonal strategy presentations.
• Strong leadership, relationship‑building and mentoring abilities.
• Full working rights in Australia and based in Sydney.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Lefty, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva and media/influencer reporting platforms.
