Senior Commercial Legal Counsel – APAC & Middle East

About the role

Axiom is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join a leading hyperscale data centre client on a long‑term secondment. The role will support commercial operations across APAC and the Middle East, providing strategic advice on complex procurement, technology and corporate services matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on commercial, procurement and operational issues, partnering with business stakeholders.
• Draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements with customers, suppliers and service providers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver risk‑based legal solutions that enable commercial outcomes.
• Advise on technology, data, privacy, intellectual property, cybersecurity and other regulatory matters.
• Develop and improve legal processes, contract templates, guidance materials and training.
• Identify and manage legal risk across complex projects and monitor regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Admitted to practice with strong experience in a leading law firm or in‑house legal team, covering a broad range of commercial matters.
• Proven ability to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with commercial contracting, procurement or technology‑related matters; exposure to privacy, IP, cybersecurity or regulatory issues is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
